Every material tells at least two stories. The first is visible: color, texture, performance, durability, and aesthetic value. The second is often hidden: the water required to grow, process, dye, finish, manufacture, maintain, and eventually dispose of that material. Across architecture, interiors, textiles, furniture, finishes, and product manufacturing, water functions as one of the most important—and least visible—resources.
